Selleck and other matters
As you may know, Tom Selleck has been nominated for an Emmy Award this year for his role as Jesse Stone in the recent "Sea Change". No one deserves it more. Tom nails the character. "Appaloosa" is proceeding, and has...

The Return of the Blogger
You are too cute to be true. Your books are so very enjoyable, well written. Congrats on the world's greatest wife and sons. Keep the books coming.

If any dog could spend the summer just "out the front window," it would be Pearl.
Thank you for your excellent books. You've taught me more than all the Writers' Conferences I've attended. Write on!

Is the sigh for the forgotten word or for the barking itself?

I LOVED Appaloosa and Gunman's Rapsody! Therefore I am thrilled about the upcoming Resolution. I have read most of your books, but luckily still am finding some. I just finished All Our Yesterdays. Great summer reading! You are an amazing story teller! Thanks for hours of entertainment!

Sox are only 5 ahead as of today. Why do they do that to us (?) and what is Francona thinking bringing in Gagner? Love your books. The banter between characters always makes me smile. I'm reading High Profile, but also listening to Thin Air in my car.

I have all of your books and I love them all.
Regarding Jesse Stone and Jen, I believe that Jesse should be reminded of the Einstein quote: "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
Tom Selleck deserves the Emmy.

Loved the latest Sunny Randall! Was intense! Looking forward to the next Spenser. Sad that Sunny and Jesse didn't work out. One question in Blue Screen, Uncle Felix Burke tells Sunny that Richie and his new wife are expecting a baby, a boy baby. In Spare Change, Richie moves out and he and Sunny talk of trying again. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BABY? This seems like a major oversight.

Just found this site after watching "Sea Change" (had recorded on our DVR)...loved it! Tom Selleck is excellent as always, but thought Kathy Baker would have been a great Molly Crane...??? (have not seen the prior TV movies, so I may have missed something)...
I discovered your books this past spring and am hooked, esp on the Sunny Randall series. She is one helluva character! I can see Meg Ryan as Sunny; not sure she "does" TV!
While the TV adaptations are well done, I have to say your novels/writing style are a tough act to follow. I have laughed out loud at some of the one-liners, which don't always translate as well onscreen.
Looking forward to reading more...have not checked out Spenser yet...
Thanks for the wonderful characters and storylines!!

Just finished hundred dollar baby. Very real -- thanks. By the way Pearl looks so much like my red dobi-- Ben-- I had to check your web site to see her. She is a winner.

Hey,i just got a computor and the internet.
So---if I can figure out how to use the cursed thing---watch out world.
Anyhoo---I absolutely LOVE your books. but--I have a comment. Please get rid of Jenn.
Kill her off somehow. She is really bugging me. Jesse can do soooo much better than that. He and Sunny would be great! Is Jenn still working for a TV station? Send her on assignment to--say--Iraq and have her step on a hidden land mine. How can such a strong man be so freaking ambiguous about a ditzy bimbo.
Sorry--but please be assured that I really do love your writing.
Thank you for listening (Do you actually read the stuff that is posted)
Love ya
Squirrelly (that's the name I hide behind)

I agree with the comment about getting rid of Jenn. She's a bimbo. Not good enough for Jesse. He can do much better, after all, he's not stupid.
Love all your books.

I love your books! I have every book that you have written within the 3 series! Spenser, Sunny, and Jesse. I recently got the Spenser TV series from eBay! Times sure have changed within television series! I'm trying to decide which character I love the most. Its great how the
stories/characters intertwine at times. Will Sunny and Jesse ever "try out" their relationship again? Will he FINALLY be done with Jenn?
Will Hawk ever fall in love? Will we ever have SPenser back on TV, again?
I guess that I can see Jesse/Tom Selleck....I do enjoy watching your books on TV! Can I make it until October 23rd? I'm doing a re-read of all of my books at this time.
Job well done, Mr. Parker!

I have listened to many of your books on CD while I'm driving and I really like all that I heard/read. I do have one issue though - when they are reading all the "he said" and "she said" and "I said"s it kind of gets a little annoying. I realize that when you read the book, as opposed to listening to it, you skim right over those parts. But to listen to it on CD over and over again is like nails on a chalkboard. Is there anyway you can maybe use some other words when people are talking? I really don't mean to be evil, but it does get irritating after a while.

I have a dog who spends his years barking out the front window. I just finished, "Night and Day," which I very much enjoyed, as I do all your books. I was sad that Sunny's Rosie died. Wasn't sorry to see Jenn go. In general, I especially like the relationship between Spenser and Susan, which comment I'm sure you've heard before.
